IBLP seeped into my family
Earlier today I shared a post on Facebook written by Emily Elizabeth Anderson regarding the latest in the Duggar family abuse scandals/dysfunction… whatever you want to call it. The Duggar family is known for reality TV, and for their involvement in the The Institute In Basic Life Principles. I shared Emily’s post to highlight the fact that IBLP principles seeped in to my own family, despite us never being directly involved. This post is not about the Duggars, but it is about abuse… my own lived experience. I will leave this one public for 24 hours and then will put it behind the paywall for my own safety and well-being.
